Monmouth to Kymin loop
An enjoyable climb to start but it is worth it for the view. The last stretch by the river was closed and diverted to the main roads so couldn't see the disused viaduct this time

An easily marketed trail for a first solo outing with a baby carrier. There are many incredible views and waking routes to choose from.

Starting in Goodrich Castle car park (English Heritage £3 all day) and headed straight up into Coppett Hill nature reserve and then along the river Wye. A beautiful picnic stop by St Margaret's Church. You can extend the route by continuing to follow the river and would probably avoid the second hill

Started at lower cockshot car park (free) and headed to Barnard's green. Stopped at the local cafe for lunch. Malvern has many beautiful large houses, villas, lodges and retirement complexes to admire just by walking along it's many streets.
