Hiking

The castle Hoheneck was probably built around 1200 by the margraves of Baden. Shortly thereafter, the first people settled at the foot of the castle. The old town center is special because you can still see some very well preserved half-timbered houses here. From the ruins you have a great view over the loops of the Neckar, the surrounding vineyards and Ludwigsburg and its residence castle.
