Towards the end of the 18th century, Schrammesmühle belonged to the Unterrodach community. The high court exercised the seniorate of Redwitz to a limited extent. If necessary, it had to hand over to the Bamberg Centamt Kronach. The Bayreuth Vogteiamt Seibelsdorf also claimed the high court. The Nagel-Oberlangenstadt manor was the landlord of the grinding and cutting mill.

The mill is called Schrammersmühle (not "Schrammesmühle" as indicated on the map). The mill coat of arms shows the year 1811, above the lintel it says 1796. The mill itself is older and was originally owned by different noble families: von Schaumberg, von Redwitz, von Künsberg. However, the tax was claimed by the Bamberg Centamt Kronach. The last noble landlords of the grinding and cutting mill were von Künsberg, based in Nagel-Oberlangenstadt, before the mill came into bourgeois ownership at the beginning of the 19th century.
