Grillhütte Hörningen is possibly a misleading name, since there is a barbecue area in Hörningen at the old oak in the direction of Kohnstein. The hut described here belongs to the Kohnstein forest district and is located in the Salza area. You can reach them very easily from Hörningen, Herreden, Woffleben and of course from Salza and Krimderode. Not far from the hut is Komödienplatz, which is also a large fork in the road. The paths to Salza, Krimderode and Woffleben can be easily ridden by e-bike. The way to Hörningen is currently only possible on foot.
