Here in the nature reserve Süderlügumer inland dunes, heath grows, which is very nice to look at especially in August and September, because then it blooms in its purple splendor.

You can cycle around the heathland area. For safety reasons, it's best to only walk inside the sensitive inner area. The area isn't large.
