The train station of Buckow is home to the "Buckower Kleinbahn e.V.", which collects and restores old trains. In the station building is a small, interesting railway museum, which is open during the summer months on weekends.

In addition, an old railcar runs hourly in the summer between Müncheberg (Mark) and Buckow (Märkische Schweiz) via Waldsieversdorf.

From here the small train goes to Müncheberg, the connection to the regional train from Berlin to Küstrin. You can also see some beautiful locomotives and cars here and visit the small train museum.

The route Müncheberg (Mark) - Buckow (Märk. Schweiz), which is just under five kilometers long, was opened on July 26, 1897 as a 750 mm narrow-gauge railway. The gauge was changed to 1,435 mm in 1930. Since then, the line has been electrified with 800 V DC. In 1981, the traction voltage was reduced to 600 V so that the new railcars with traction motors and the traction control from local trams could run at all.
Electrical operation was discontinued on May 23, 1993 and Deutsche Bahn AG ceased operations completely on September 28, 1997. The reopening as a museum railway took place on September 14, 2002. The railway association Märkische Schweiz e.V. and the museum railway Buckower Kleinbahn e.V. are active here.
