Memorial stone for the nature and local poet Hermann Löns (1866-1914).

A memorial stone in the middle of nature.

Interesting:
Löns gave up his studies prematurely in 1890. This, as well as his excessive alcohol consumption, led to a break with his parents. In 1891 he was hired by the newspaper Pfälzische Presse in Kaiserslautern, but was dismissed a year later because of his alcohol addiction and unpunctuality. Another short station was a newspaper in Gera.

A somewhat hidden memorial stone to the "Heath poet" Hermann Löns, but the signpost to the stone is easy to overlook, a display board on life and work would be useful here.

You walk through the forest, nothing but landscape, and suddenly - a memorial stone in the middle.

A nice descent here.

Quite hidden memorial stone for the 'Heidedichter'. The note on the tree, slightly overgrown with moss, does not make it any easier to discover it when walking past. With the komoot card it works well ;-)

Unfortunately the way is blocked by a fallen, very large tree

Passed it almost unsuspectingly. There is also a bank there.

It is worth looking left and right of the path. There was no information board about this stone. The path is challenging and requires good, sturdy shoes.
