The beautiful Georgenkirche is unmistakable due to its eye-catching placement - in the middle of the market square. Many well-known personalities, such as Luther, Telemann and Pachelbel, were closely associated with the main Protestant church. Today you can marvel at the original baptismal font from 1503, where Johann Sebastian Bach from Eisenach was baptized in 1685.
