Hi, ich bin mihya und bin meistens in der Gegend um Vallendar (bei Koblenz) unterwegs.
Family walk near Lykershausen. It was originally planned to be longer, but the forest paths marked on Komoot were then not available.
The highlights: (Corona-Platt) rolling machine, various mobile raised stands and a "hunting facility" with a couch ... and not to forget the kiosk in town that is open every day. Pure country life! But the best: After the migrations to Niederwerth that have taken place in the meantime - absolutely deserted, no soul to be seen :-) only foresight.

After the snow comes the water. So today visited the local marshland on the island of Niederwerth :-)
The southern tip is especially worth seeing these days. Many trees stand in the water. The small "creaky" path directly on the Rhine is just barely passable.

Today I went on a geocache tour again with the family, this time on parts of the Tatzelwurmweg near Kobern Gondorf (I thought the name "Tatzelwurm" was awesome).Right at the beginning of the tour there is the "oracle on the hewn stone". The confusing hairpin bends and damp depths used to be thought of as mysterious ghost districts.
At the beginning of the route through this valley you had three throws with stones free - if one of the stones stuck in the "lucky pod", you could be sure to pass the Hohesteinsbachtal safely. After that, the so-called stalking trail is also interesting for children. If you pay close attention, you will see all kinds of figures in the forest that correspond to the corresponding animals on the display board at the beginning.
Overall an entertaining tour.More information about the Tatzelwurmweg can be found here:
