The station Scharnhorst / Brackel was not a nice place anymore.
In the dark, more of an anxiety, as a point for traveling and arriving.
As this station is being refurbished, the Hofnung rises to a railway station which will be gladly used in the future.
So drive past more often and follow the results.

Cycling
The station is actually between the districts Scharnhorst and Brackel on the main line Dortmund-Hamm and is operated twice per hour / direction. The ambience is rustic and worth seeing at the Körne and is dominated by Betonstegen, the wastewater treatment plant in the west and the expressway - typical Revier-residual landscape.
