Here, the Cologne Randkanal dives back into the underground to come back to the daylight at the estuary and flows into the Rhine there.
Here you will also find the "dining room", a robust rest house, which is maintained by the ZKR (Zweckverband Kölner Randkanal).
The "dining room" is a hub and part of the route along the Kölner Randkanal to Frechen Königsdorf, where the edge channel comes from the underground and runs about 20km above ground.
