Officially, there is only this access point for surfers on the Steinhuder Meer.
The Mardorf surf beach has become a mecca for kite surfers in recent years. When walkers and cyclists turn up their jackets and look for a sheltered spot, high-life is at Mardorfer Strand. The windsurfing, but especially the kite scene, then delivers real "eye-catcher", a truly fascinating spectacle.
