Here on the Klausberg are some burial mounds. They probably date back to the early to middle Bronze Age (about 1000 to 100 BC) and consist of loosely piled stones that cover an underlying sarcophagus. The Aachen professor Liese uncovered and examined one of the burial mounds in 1924.

The burial mounds on Klausberg, which date from the early to middle Bronze Age (approx. 1000 to 100 BC), are well known. They consist of loosely stacked, uncut stones that cover a sarcophagus underneath. In 1924, Professor Liese from Aachen uncovered and examined one of these barrows.
