In a beautiful place in the natural valley of the Feldaist the hiker meets a very special treasure: the Kumpfmühle. Their striking water wheel reminds of times when the farmers here milled their grain and sawed their bloch wood into boards. For a long time, the mill was still, before owners Friedrich Robeischl and his family lovingly restored them in years of work. Today, he likes to take visitors into the mysterious world of the millers, reveals many a "Pfoachtl" of the mill-builders and tells of the joys and dangers of life on and with the river.
