These are two interesting places on the Feldaist, a river in Upper Austria.
Jungfernsprung is a waterfall that has a legend. A young woman is said to have thrown herself into the river to escape a knight. But she was caught by a rock and saved. Today the Jungfernsprung is a popular swimming spot in summer.
Kleine Notmühle is a former mill that was built in the 19th century. It served as a replacement for the large emergency mill that was destroyed in a flood. The small emergency mill is now a ruin that can be seen on a hiking trail along the Feldaist.
