A time travel takes you in the Randauer open-air museum up to 7,500 years back to the beginning Neolithic (Neolithic).

Experience the redesign of a 4.500-year-old Neolithic post house excavated in Randau in the Freilichtmuseum Randau. Such a post house is as old as the ancient Egyptian pyramid of Cheops or the megalithic circles of Stonehenge. The huge dimensions of the longhouse are (LxWxH) 21.3 x 5.5 x 5.6 m.
In the windowless clay building with a thatched roof, a clan of about 30 people lived together in a confined space with cattle, sheep, goats and pigs.
