The monument stands opposite the bison monument on a slope. The larger, oblong memorial was erected in honor of the local residents who fell in WW I. Next to it is a smaller memorial stone, which commemorates the residents who died in WW II.
At the moment (Aug. 2021) the entire slope around the memorial stones is being redesigned.August 23, 2021
