The tour starts at the free car park in the Mariental. First uphill through the narrow kite canyon. Arrived on the Hohe Sonne, you can reward yourself with an original Thuringian bratwurst. Before that, you should turn around and enjoy the view of the Wartburg. Back on the other side of the street, down through the Landgrave Gorge, which also impresses with its scenic formation.
