Morro Jable is an old fishing village, which was relatively secluded until about 1970 in the remote area of southern Fuerteventura. Meanwhile, the place has become a center of tourism. North of the village extend the mountain range Pico de la Zarza. South of the village lies the Atlantic Ocean.
