The historic center of Gravedona, known as "Castello", is full of small squares, houses leaning against each other, alleys and steep staircases that plunge into the blue of the lake. Here it is still possible to admire the remains of the old castle walls and the Belvedere, called Pra' Castello, from which you can enjoy an enchanting panorama of the Lario. Among the elegant ancient buildings, in Via Volta at number 2, the house where Alessandro Volta stayed is worthy of note.
