Deisterfreund Brauns is a monument from 1892, which was restored in April 2017. The monument has been cut free and the green area has been extended by a few benches. The so-called "toboggan run", which is to be understood as an extension of the Deisterstraße, has been renovated. ,
Ernst Brauns -1834 to 1891- visited regularly with his sons at the end of the 19th century Barsinghausen to walk and discover new ways and mark. Then Ernst Brauns was honored in 1892 with this monument. Donated by the citizens of Barsinghausen.
