The Monument de la Rennaissance africaine in Dakar is the highest statue on the African continent with a height of 49 meters. The bronze statue is located on one of the basalt cones called Deux Mamelles in Dakar, the capital of Senegal. The monument is made of three-centimeter-thick metal sheets of bronze and shows a rising from a volcano family, consisting of a woman and a man carrying a child on his left arm.
