The Muizenberg is theoretically accessible at any time free of charge. However, you should avoid / refrain from ascending or descending after dark. At the start coordinates of our tour you can find quite easy parking, but also at the entrance to the Boyes Drive (location info board) you will find good parking. The ascent chosen by us is open on rocky paths with one or the other tree / bush as a shadow donor. On the descent, however, you will find very steep, narrow stone paths with lots of boulders. No matter which side you start the ascent, on the summit there is a fantastic 360 degree panoramic view. But there should be no lack of a reasonable hiking boot, hat, water and sunscreen. Shadow places are absolutely in short supply. For all photo fanatics, a camera with a good lens is an absolute must. Have fun.
