The Beltman building is the former administration building of the company Laurenz (textile factories) and was designed and built in 1893 according to the design of the Dutch architect Gerrit Beltman from Enschede on the basis of castle buildings of the Dutch Renaissance.
However, the building lost its usefulness after the company van Delden took over the textile business, since then, this building has been used only slightly. The current owner is the Hütten Holding, which has renovated the building and integrated it into its DOC (formerly EOC and FOC). Completion and opening of the FOC was the 30th of August, 2012. The Beltman building is considered an important example of historicism and is a listed building. In the tower of the building used at the time of the company van Delden as goods storage is the information center of the shopping center.

It's great to see that old and modern can be stylishly combined without losing charm and character...in fact, by integrating the "old" Telxtill building into the "new" outlet store, something unifying was created...here, "Des Textil" is clearly the unifying connection!
