Eroica Montalcino is a historic cycling tour that takes place in the beautiful area south of Siena, between the Val d'Arbia, the Crete Senesi and the Val D'Orcia, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2004.
Participants can choose from different routes, ranging from 27 to 147 kilometers. Each route offers a unique challenge and the chance to enjoy the scenic beauty of Tuscany. The routes include the 147.6 km route with an altitude difference of 2,894 metres, the 94 km medium route through the Val D'Orcia with an altitude difference of 1,846 metres, the 65.4 km medium route through the Crete Senesi with an altitude difference of 1,285 meters, the 45.8 km Brunello route with a height difference of 868 meters, and the 27.1 km family route with a height difference of 580 meters.
