Casera Vallon Scuro (Valon Scur) stands near a clearing at the base of the mountain of the same name, at an altitude of 1193 metres. Usable as a bivouac, on the ground floor there is the only room that serves as a kitchen and dining room, while on the first floor there is a large bedroom. Owned by the Municipality of Mel, it is maintained by the local Alpine group.
