Hiking
The Iron Child, named after the dredger that dug it, is a small lake in 's-Hertogenbosch, in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is part of what is also called the Iron family around 's-Hertogenbosch. The lake is on the edge of Hintham. The Iron Child is a sand quarry and therefore no longer natural. The sand that was excavated here was used to build the Hintham South district. The groundwater is located in the 200 m wide hole that was left behind. The area of the lake is about 0.03 km².
