After the monastery was converted into a women's convent in 1551, the building continued to serve as an outbuilding. When I was there, the monastery was unfortunately closed due to Corona, so I could only look at it from the outside. You could visit the monastery garden, but in April not that much grew there either. I took some photos and will definitely be back at some point (if the conditions are better). But it was definitely a nice bike tour (I cycled from Dannenberg via Clenze to Diesdorf and via Salzwedel back to Dannenberg).
