Heimser Mühle is a Wall Dutchman with a passage. It consists of a brick-walled conical mill tower with a shingle roof, built on a rubble stone base. It has four windy wings, two of which are equipped with louvre flaps. The mill initially ran only with wind, but was equipped with a steam drive at an early stage. After the First World War, the steam drive was replaced by an electric motor that is still in working order today. During the Second World War, the mill only grind with two blades, then only with the electric motor. Initially the mill had a star, later it was converted to a wind rose system. The mill has two grinding stages: a grist meal and a flour course with a bag box, alternating with wind power or an electric motor. The mill can be visited on the grinding and baking days.
Events for up to 120 people are possible in the neighboring mill house
