Wilflingen Castle
Wilflingen Castle has been owned by the von Stauffenberg taverns since 1464 and is the oldest family seat of the former imperial knight family. Between 1710 and 1740, the Prince Bishop of Constance and Augsburg, Johann Franz Schenk von Stauffenberg, had the castle converted into a hunting lodge and the church, the Löwen inn and the Eisighof built. The rich furnishings of the rooms and the external appearance of the castle date from this period. The castle is inhabited by the family and has been open to the public to a limited extent since 1960.
