Tips
From the dike you have a very nice view of the Elbe, e.g. in a south-easterly direction towards Schnackenburg. But you also have a very nice view of the meadow landscape, which was created by relocating the dike. There is also a shelter or a small hut from which you can observe the surroundings.
At night you can take great pictures (long exposures) of the starry sky here, because the light pollution is quite low here (only the nighttime lighting from the intermediate storage facility in Gorleben is so strong that it is still a bit annoying here, although about 15 km, as well as the Höhbeck lie in between).translated by
