Hiking

The fountain named “Böst” by Hans Fred Åberg is one of the landmarks of the city of Trelleborg. The sculpture shows six women hidden under umbrellas - you can only see their legs in rain boots - and has been in the pedestrian zone in the center of the city since 1996. The term “Bost war” means “crap weather”.

Cycling or walking along the pedestrian zone in the city center, you will see this statue with six women hiding under umbrellas. It is a small fountain and a landmark of Trelleborg, also called the Böst fountain. It was built in 1996 and is made of bronce. Böst is the Swedish term for lousy weather.
