Lengder Castle is a refuge from the pre-Roman Iron Age. It is located on a southern branch of the Göttingen Forest with steep slopes and a good view. It is protected from the plateau by two walls. Hiking

There are several very nice vantage points from the Göttingerwald and from the Plessewald. In addition to this point, this also includes the Harz look-out tower, Hünstollen, Bank above Billingshausen and Plesse, among others.
