Sohland has one of the best preserved old towns in Upper Lusatia. Over 200 of the typical Umgebindehäuser, a mixture of half-timbered house and log cabin, adorn the cityscape. Next to it you will find the 400 year old castle Sohland, the impressive church and the magnificent Art Nouveau town hall. In one of the Umgebinde houses there is even a small museum of local history.
