The Loser is an 1837 m above sea level. A. high mountain in the municipality of Altaussee on the north bank of the Altausseer See. Its distinctive, castle-like summit structure makes it a landmark of the Ausseerland. The Loser is accessed through the Loser Panorama Road, opened in 1972, which extends up to 1600 m above sea level. A. leads. Beautiful paths lead to the summit. There are various ascent options, so the summit can be reached by everyone.

You can drive the beautiful panoramic road (18€ toll) to the LoserHütte, park there and take hiking trail 255 to the summit. Then take path 265 back to the Augstsee and the LoserAlm.
A very nice moderate round with great views.
