Near the French border are the remains of an old Roman inn, built in the first century AD on the Roman road Reims-Trier. How many travellers and traders stopped here to rest and prepare for the next stage of their journey? 4 km south of Florenville is the Gallo-Roman site of Chameleux (1st to 3rd century). The Roman road Reims-Trier once passed here and an inn was built here for soldiers and travellers. Archaeological excavations have revealed the remains of this inn. Information boards give visitors an idea of life here during the Roman period.

Small but nice site, near the restaurant Chameleon at the start of the walk. According to insiders you can eat delicious trout here.
There is a small parking lot across the hotel where you can easily park your car.
