Attention: definitely not suitable as a departure! The road quality is too bad: Potholes and gravel make the descent very dangerous.
The driveway is great if you want to give yourself the edge: hard and long, but shady and no traffic. The potholes can be well avoided during the ascent.

From Moosch first on a normal road it goes from Geishouse over a small lane on completely poor traffic route up to the Routes des Crètes and then on to the Grand Ballon.
