Lac de la Lauch

This is one of the most easily accessible lakes in the Vosges by car, taking the same road as that leading to the Markstein. Ideal for a family picnic, it is however forbidden to swim there, as for all the dam lakes of the massif.

The reservoir can be reached from Linthal on beautiful paths and paths along both sides of the Lauch. Below the lake there is a very beautiful waterfall

A wonderful lake at the foot of the Jungfrauenkopf. Many stones on the shore, partly also silt. Bathing as in any reservoir is prohibited because of the danger to be sucked under water. The locals still bathe there. But there are a few nice places to dangle your legs on the southwest side. Parking is available on the street in the north.
