The church building was constructed as a three-aisled basilica with a cruciform floor plan in the Neo-Romanesque style. The building material was red sandstone. The nave of the church is divided into a central nave and two side aisles. Adjoining the nave is a transept, followed by the choir with a semicircular apse. The ceilings of the naves are formed by cross-ribbed vaults.
