A historic transition to the Inn. The Roman road "Via Claudia" from Verona to Augsburg ran along here. Later it was the border fortress and customs post of the Austrians. With the construction of a new road from Pfunds to Nauders in the middle of the 19th century, this place fell into a deep slumber and, despite its spectacular history and location, has not yet woken up again. The local Gasthsus with terrace is definitely a tragedy.
