You should definitely inquire about the opening hours if you plan to have a refreshment there. The hut is only open in the summer months until mid-September. The ascent is always worthwhile, however, as the view is magnificent. The "short cut" from the Kobler Alm car park is really steep, the more leisurely path leads over the forest road - both together a nice round.

The Alm is run by a very nice family. It can be easily reached from the parking lot in 30-1.30h (depending on your fitness level) - there is also a shortcut through the forest.
The Almkäse is extremely tasty and well spicy. The view from the Kobler Alm is wonderful 🤩⛰.
