On a 2-kilometer route there is an accurate row of historical boundary stones that mark the course of the border between the Saar region and Germany between 1920 and 1935.
The further course is carved on the top, so you can always see where to find the next boundary stone.
The corresponding country is carved with D and S on the sides.
