The thermal brine water from the Catharinenquelle spring in Bad Saarow is brought to the surface from a depth of 450 meters. The healing water contains valuable minerals and trace elements. The water, which was originally 21 degrees Celsius, is heated to a comfortable 36 degrees using heat exchangers and is used exclusively in the Saarow thermal baths.
