Great satisfaction gained from summiting the Col du Bonhomme, rewarded with fantastic views of the Contamines-Montjoie Nature Reserve on one side, and the Beaufortain on the other side.
If you are cycling the TMB clockwise, then this marks the end of the toughest hike-a-bike section up from Les Chapieux.
