The dune spa in St. Peter-Ording has been around for more than 45 years. Started as Meerwasserwellenbad in the district of St. Peter-Bad, the bathroom is continuously off and rebuilt for 20 years. The sauna area has a total of four saunas and a steam bath. The two most beautiful saunas are in the so-called dune garden with the beach chairs, the outdoor area of the dune sauna. The pile-dwelling sauna allows wide views into the distance up to the pile-dwelling restaurants on the North Sea. The Kelo-Blockhouse-Sauna is the venue for a varied, executed infusion program, which is properly celebrated every hour - I prefer the 18.00 o'clock infusion followed by a salt scrub. Also to be highlighted is the dune garden with the small seawater pool and a sea waterfall to cool off. It offers a real beach feeling with dunes, sand and beach chairs. The dune garden is lower than the rest of the area, so you feel well shielded down there. From the rest of the dune landscape in St. Peter-Ording you get something, if you venture a bit higher up. The fantastic view to the beach over the other dunes and the salt marshes is best enjoyed from the elevated pile sauna, its terrace and through the large picture windows in the large relaxation room on the first floor.
- And the sauna landscape is the dune thermal baths for a leisure and adventure pool with a wave pool, an adventure pool with outdoor area and a toddler pool. Except for the toddler area, the pools are filled with original salt water from the North Sea.

Both the Dünentherme, which let to Seelebaumeln as Gosch for culinary enjoyment are just the highlights of the route. Overall the area Sankt Peter Ording with the extensive beaches and well-developed hiking and biking trails is highly recommended.
