Hiking
In the summer of 2005, the expansion of the streets and the reconstruction of the Kok Tobe park began. The access roads were paved and work was carried out to green the mountain. After the reconstruction, the appearance of the famous mountain has changed.
In March 2016, the construction of a new cable car was completed and the renewed park reopened its gates to everyone.

Hiking
Quite an interesting place within the city, where there is a small amusement park, a small zoo, restaurants and a panorama of the city. You can get there by metro.

From there you can enjoy the view of Almaty. The city lies spread out before us, glittering in the sun, and to the left, the white peaks of the Tien Shan rise beautifully into the sky.
Otherwise, people stroll through the amusement park below the TV tower. An apple sculpture (of course: Alma Ata = Father of the Apple) and a Beatles monument (I didn't find out why it's there) invite you to take selfies.
