Beautiful old town which suspects the wealth of the time from the salt production! From here the salt was transported over the Salzach to Salzburg!

Great small town with a lot of flair, definitely a visit. A detour to the Kaltenhausen brewery, which is 1km away, is worthwhile, the best beer in the region.

Very nice old town with a lot of culture.
Tip: An ice cream at GelatOK in the old town. And maybe a visit to the Celtic Museum and/or the Silent Night Museum.June 23, 2022
The cycle paths from Salzburg via Hellbrunn Palace and along the Salzach are fun, and in the small old town of Hallein you can take a break with a nice sundae.
