The chapel on the land of the chapels is dedicated to the painful Mother of God. The plastered stone building with irregular 3/8-Schluss lies picturesquely under old trees. It is located on an old trade route and was built as Fuhrmannskapelle. The rectangular building with a flat wooden ceiling is divided by four windows with segmental arches. The window and door frames are made of wood. The choir stands on the west side. On the eastern front there is a beautiful door with an inscription on the top: SANCTA MATER DOLORIS ORA PRO NOBIS TE PRECANTIBVS (1758). The floor of slate tiles in herringbone pattern rises to the west. The roof is covered with slate and is crowned by a ridge turret. In the altar is an expressive Vesperbild, probably from the beginning of the 16th century.
Also belong to the area of the Küsterlandkapelle the chapel of the blood-sweating savior and the Lourdesgrotte. In the chapel of the blood-sweating savior the Ölberg scene is reproduced with almost life-size figures. The chapel is also the starting point of a historic Stations of the Cross.Source: Wikipedia.de
