At about 690 meters, the Overlackersberg is the highest mountain in Wulmeringhausen. Among the locals, it is more known as "Westenberg" because the mountain is located west of the village. You can reach this beautiful panorama mountain on forest roads from Wulmeringhausen (ways to Welschelied & Birkegge). From the Overlackersberg you have a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains (Wiedegge, Schmalenberg, Olsberg, Heidkopf, Stüppel) and the valleys of the Hochsauerland.
