The bronze statue "Connectedness" is located in the Helga Deen Garden (on the corner of Willem II Street). The statue was created by artist Margot Homan. The artwork symbolizes survival, youth, and hope. This statue is inspired by Helga Deen's diary. In Camp Vught, she wrote a diary and letters for her fiancé. The statue has been there since 2017 and is partly a tribute to the Jewish citizens who perished.
